Two Ontario Rhodes Scholars-elect chosen for 2010
Dec 12, 2009Nithum Thain is currently studying for his Ph.D. in mathematics at McGill University, and will continue his studies in the Master's degree program in Development Economics at Oxford. He has a deep commitment to change in his native Burma. He is also active on his university fencing team.
Erin Fitzgerald plans to complete the MPhil in International Relations in her two years at Oxford. She is currently in her last year of undergraduate studies at University of Toronto. She is also a nationally ranked karate athlete.
