Susan is currently completing her final year of a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Honours in International Relations and a Minor in Political Science, at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. She is from Campbellton, New Brunswick and has had the opportunity to explore her interest in Canadian foreign policy by studying at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts last year under a Killam Fellowship. At Mount Allison, Susan has maintained a GPA of 4.0 out of 4.3, and during her period at Smith College she achieved a GPA of 3.93 out of 4.0. Susan is involved in activities as diverse as swing dancing and equestrian riding, having been a member of Smith College's Varsity Equestrian Team. She has also worked for the past two summers as an interpretive guide at the Vimy Ridge National Historic Site of Canada in Vimy, France.
Susan intends to pursue a M. Phil. in Politics, focusing upon either Comparative Government or International Relations at Oxford, as a means of exploring her interest in domestic influences on the formation of foreign policy, with a view to an eventual career in public leadership and policy making.
Rosanna is currently completing her final year of a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a combined Honours in History and Economics, at the University of King's College, where she has maintained a grade point average of 4.07 out of 4.3. She is from Hamilton, Ontario but has become a thriving participant in life on campus at King's and neighbouring Dalhousie University as well as the broader Halifax community. Rosanna has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to volunteer work and to public service, one of her most notable accomplishments having been the leadership of a campaign for the support of a refugee student through her role as a founder of the presence of World University Service of Canada at the University of King's College. Rosanna was instrumental in the organization of a referendum to secure funding for WUSC's Student Refugee Program at King's and in collaborating with the University of Development Studies in Ghana to found a scholarship program at their school. She is also an accomplished choral singer and a devotee of Ultimate Frisbee, having recently returned from participating with the Dalhousie-King's Ultimate Team at the Canadian University Nationals.
Rosanna intends to pursue a M. Sc. in Economics for Development at Oxford, with a view to an eventual career working in governmental policy or law. She has already expressed an interest in studying at Christ Church College, being drawn both to its faculty and its musical tradition.
