North American Oxford Reunion 2010

The bi-annual North American Reunion for Oxford University Alumni is being held April 16 and 17 at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Events include college dinners, presentations by department heads, a viewing of the Bodleian Library's 1217 edition of the Magna Carta, a talk by Professor Tiffany Stern on Shakespeare's texts from the point of view of the actors for whom he wrote, as well as a panel discussion by New York Times op-ed columnist Nicholas Kristof and his wife, Sheryl WuDunn, advocating that the most effective way to fight global poverty and insecurity is to educate and empower women.
